Benefits, Evaluation and Costs

Reports from the European Commission's EasyWay and TEMPO programmes - The EasyWay programme is promoting the process of evaluating ITS projects within the EU and incorporates the Evaluation Experts Group (EEG) who strive to share best practice in evaluation between the projects in the programme. The EasyWay programme built upon the previous TEMPO programme for which numerous evaluation reports were compiled. These reports can be found here.

TRB ITS Committee - The TRB ITS Committee (based in the US) is concerned with ITS systems-level issues, focusing on the broad planning, policy, economic, social, technological, and institutional aspects of the development and implementation of ITS
Transport Canada ITS Evaluation Framework - Transport Canada has recently released its Project Evaluation Methodology Framework for Canadian ITS applications. Based on the extensive experience gained by the department in its ITS research & development and deployment funding programs, it is potentially useful for application to ITS project evaluation in other countries as well as Canada.
